Maa Kalratri - seventh aspect of Navadurga Sixth day of Navratri is celebrated as Maha Saptami or Durga Saptami. In 2015, Maha Saptami Navaratri Durga Puja date is October 14th, Thursday. It is also observed as Saraswati Avahana day as part of Saraswati Puja during Navratri Durga Puja. Saraswati Puja during Navratri is also known as Saraswati Triratra Vratam or Devi Triratra Vratham.
As per Navadevi Durga puja sampradaya, Devi Durga is adorned and worshipped as Goddess Mahalakshmi (Mahalakshmi alankaram). Kalratri Navadurga is worshipped as part of Navadurga Puja.
Dhumathi is the Goddess to worship on Maha Saptami as part of Dasamahavidya puja in Navratri. Chamundi Devi Puja is observed as per Saptamatrika and Ashtamatrika puja rituals.
